Today, we launch @devplanai.
We're also announcing $2.5M in seed funding led by @ai2incubator and @AcequiaCapital with participation from @MightyCapital, @grandvcp, @eLabVentures
My co-founders and I started the company because we believe software development has fundamentally changed. AI has made writing code dramatically faster. Small teams can now build what once required entire organizations.
But while software development accelerated, the systems used to coordinate product development barely changed. Teams still spend hours every week trying to answer simple questions.
• What changed?
• Why was this prioritized?
• Which projects are at risk?
• How does this feature work?
The answers exist. They're just scattered across Slack, Jira, GitHub, docs, meetings, and a hundred other places. As AI accelerates execution, this problem gets worse. More code. More fast decisions. More context. More information spread across more systems.
The bottleneck is no longer building software. It's maintaining shared understanding. That's why we built Devplan.
Devplan connects the tools product teams already use into a shared product intelligence layer. Our knowledge graph, Weaver, continuously understands what changed, why it matters, and what needs attention across the organization.
Product and Engineering leaders get real-time visibility into progress, risk, decisions, and opportunities. Teams spend less time searching for information, assembling status updates, and reconstructing context. AI agents gain access to the same organizational understanding as the humans they work alongside.
What we're seeing so far:
• Product and engineering managers reclaiming 8-10 hours per week
• Context queries running 2x faster and 3.5x cheaper than standard AI workflows connected directly to source systems
• Great feedback in production with dozens of fast-growing teams
We believe every software organization will eventually have a system responsible for maintaining shared understanding. We are building it.

@NateSilver538 It’s been prominently displayed at SEA airport for months now and the TSA agents have been reminding me about it since late last year each time I fly. Made the appt and got mine in the mail just last week. Perhaps some cities have been more upfront about reminders.
@hamptonism Exercise in the morning, no coffee after Noon, at least 10K steps a day, work full time, parenting / making dinner with family time, and I use my phone whenever I want (I added that as several comments mention avoiding phone or blue light, but it doesn’t impact me).
New podcast! After scaling and exiting Lessen 2 years ago, I've been leaning into fractional and interim CTO roles.
I recently joined Spencer for a chat with Fractionally Speaking.
Check it out below.
@unusual_whales Inflation plus return of commuting and childcare costs. The other countries shown have much cheaper commutes and more supportive childcare structures.
In my opinion a good hobby has gear you can nerd out on, increasing levels of skill or knowledge that are never finished, is meditative and creates flow state, and naturally creates social connection.
@HarrisFanaroff No, you absolutely keep going. No screens needed. Put him in a high chair and give him finger food snacks, and more snacks, and more snacks. I know it seems like he won’t eat the kids meal you order him, but it’s likely not as healthy anyway as packing some fruit/snacks.
@TaylorHoliday It may be unlikely there is a high LTV or repeat purchase rate. If there is not, then I’d dig into: 1) understand if there was any noise from other media channels impacting results (ie contamination), 2) look at demo slices to glean insights, 3) check ad creative and audiences
