If the frozen assets from Iran were released back to the regime, it would only strengthen the hand of the religious fanatics running the IRGC. This would be completely contradictory to our interests.

After years, I read again Marcuse’s infamous
‘Repressive Tolerance’.
It was worse than I remembered;
it’s like that monologue of Ayn Rand's villain
Ellsworth Toohey.
But while Toohey spoke safely to an audience of one,
Marcuse spoke openly to the whole world,
like a Bond villain revealing the mastermind plan.
But this post isn’t just about Marcuse.
I thought ‘he cannot be THAT blunt and evil;
maybe I’m missing something’…
So I went online to find various leftist reviews
and videos on the essay, trying to see the other side.
These were WORSE than the essay itself.
At least in the essay the intellectual thug is open:
you plebs are not mentally developed enough to have rights, so your freedoms shall be under the whip
of a philosopher king like myself and my friends.
The leftist reviews double down on viewing us as idiots,
and hoping we’ll never read, or understand, the essay,
omit the authoritarianism-on-steroids vision,
and present it as an emancipatory progressive humanistic triumph.
This is intellectual dishonesty akin to reviewing ‘Mein Kampf’ as the memoirs of a political prisoner,
ommitting the parts about the visions for a
War to the East, and solving the Jewish Question.
But more on all that on tonight’s episode
with @yaronbrook dedicated to the Frankfurt School.
PS: because we’re better than such leftists
and we care about the truth,
big part of the episode will be about
debunking some of the hysterical
right wing conspiracies about the Frankfurt School.

**The Manosphere’s Empty Promise: Why Tribal Masculinity Is Failing Men**
Why are millions of young men turning to the manosphere, Andrew Tate, red-pill ideology, and tribal online movements?
In Episode 3 of The Yaron & @Nikos_17 Dialogues, Yaron Brook and @Nikos_17 examine the rise of modern masculinity culture — from evolutionary psychology and feminism to incels, MAGA tribalism, conspiracy theories, religion, hypergamy, and anti-intellectualism.
The conversation challenges both left and right while asking a deeper question: what does rational masculinity actually look like? They also discuss Andrew Tate’s appeal, the collapse of independent thinking online, and why modern politics increasingly rewards resentment over reason.
If you want a deeper philosophical discussion about masculinity, relationships, identity, freedom, and culture — this episode is for you. Watch now: https://t.co/Z8JM8Vuq6D
It sets a dangerous global precedent if Iran can close the Strait of Hormuz and force the world to negotiate for access. These are international waterways, treating them like geopolitical “light switches” would have lasting economic and strategic consequences worldwide.
