Philippine mass transit so fucked up that this was the line for the EDSA Carousel at around 11 p.m.
MRT was already closed. Angkas wasn’t viable because of the rain + Grab/ID was either impossible to book or too expensive. So walang choice kundi pumila sa kakaunti/punuang bus.
Nakakahiya ngayon talaga ang Senado ng Pilipinas Worldwide! 🌎 Laman ng balita nang mga foreign news outlets ang kaguluhan sa Senado ng Pilipinas! 🇵🇭 @senatePH 😐
All this chaos.
Just to protect the Dutertes and their allies.
The country has sacrificed too much—our institutions, our democracy, and far too many lives—for the survival of people who believe they are above accountability.
The Philippines is on the brink of becoming an aging society by 2027 as its fertility rate fell to historic lows, a demographic shift that experts warned could strain the country’s healthcare, the workforce, and social protection systems.

I think the hardest part of the political climate right now is realizing how many people around me are actually evil. Not stupid. Not misinformed. Just blatantly enjoying and relishing in the suffering of other human beings.
NUCLEAR TRACE DETECTED
The University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute has detected elevated levels of iodine-129 – an isotope commonly used as an indicator of nuclear activity – in seawater samples from the West Philippine Sea.
UP MSI said the concentrations found in the WPS were higher than in any other part of the country, despite the Philippines having no active nuclear power plant or nuclear weapons program.

Chinese thieves are seen poaching giant, centuries-old clams- all from a Philippine outpost in Spratlys
These are the same clowns demanding a 'nature reserve' in Scarborough Shoal after wrecking the environment they will use to accuse Philippines of harming.
@MalayaIrredenta
When the phenomenal Gen Nick Torre was unceremoniously relieved of his Chief post at the PNP, the well-loved uniformed official simply executed a firm salute, excused himself, & walked out the door - -like a dutiful soldier submitting respectfully to an order of his superiors.
Thanks to our friend Ken Abante for flagging at a Senate hearing a struggle we journalists face: SEC docs aren’t free.
We spent P30K on Zaldy Co files last year via SEC Express. ESearch is cheaper at P375/doc, but costs still pile up.
If we want transparency, why the paywall?
Dear Mayor Magalong,
1. You cannot be an investigator of an Independent Commission because it conflicts with your job as a 24/7 Mayor of Baguio City under the Local Government Code and the Constitution which prohibits elected officials from being appointed to another position and doing two jobs at the same time.
Why accept the position in the first place if you were not willing to resign as Mayor of Baguio?
As a Mayor elected to implement laws, you should know the law – that being Mayor is a full-time and exclusive job.
2. There’s conflict of interest if you will investigate other elected officials but you yourself have an anomalous project in your own backdoor.
You claim there’s no anomaly in the 110 Million tennis court project but who is to prove that? It cannot be you.
Credible news reports have shown that the 110 Million tennis court is either overpriced, substandard, or massively delayed.
And the company or contractor is a Discaya company – no less than the infamous St. Gerrard Construction.
If people believe that all 9 Discaya companies are involved in the modus of the Discaya couples, why will your tennis court project in Baguio be any different?
3. Atty. Claire Castro is just doing her job as a lawyer and spokesperson.
Obviously, her boss is the President. Who else would she take orders from?
She herself has said that it was reported to the President that there are legal concerns about your appointment and that Malacañang was reviewing the legal concerns.
Why blame Atty. Claire Castro for a problem you yourself created by accepting an appointment that conflicts with your job as Mayor without resigning first as Mayor?
Yan mahirap sa mga DDS eh, mahilig mang blame and pretend they are the victim! 👊

Hindi kayo binudol ni BBM.
Binudol kayo ni BBM at Inday. They gave you a fairytale na happily ever after ang UNITEAM but they don’t trust each other at all. Review the timeline of the fallout:
-SD wanted DND. She got Education
-GMA was demoted to deputy speaker which others claim is an MR coup
- Digong called BBM bangag, SD snickered.
It was all downhill from there on. So don’t give the BS he didn’t keep the promises he made. They both did Uniteam without clearly agreeing how power will be subdivided. That or they both arrogantly believe one could control the other.
As to Leni not being the right vote because sa “mahilig siya sa ayuda,” bakit ang programa din ni Inday ay puno ng ayuda! Was Leni given a significant role in the Duterte administration? She made her own with minimal budget. And what has she done to be called tuta ng Amerika?
The corruption now happening is called YOUR POOR CHOICES. Own up to it and start thinking beyond loyalty to the Duterte clan.
