Ugh, that feeling you get after a whole day of snacking and you're not quite sure if you're peckish or have eaten waaay too much :/ #readathon#toomanysnacks#isthatevenathing?
And we're off, a wee bit late, but who cares? My first book is 'How Green is my Valley' - which I'm reading for a paper in order to defend taking a day out of my schedule to join the #readathon ;) The box is to stop me eating all my snacks at once :P
@parthianbooks @readathon For this year's #readathon, I've gathered af #TBR-pile of short and long works, some for a project and others for pure, unalloyed pleasure. Am 2/3s through Mortal Engines, so that one may need replacing before the big day 📚😉#currentlyreading#amreading
I had a very interesting couple days at the festival, and the discussion between Karmele Jaio, Brian Conaghan and Daniel Hahn was really insightful. Read more on Parthian's Blog :)
I've finally had time to put some words on my experience at the #Eisteddfod2018 in Cardiff last week. Have a read: https://t.co/z3MJ6bmKxl 📚 #Steddfod2018#Caerdydd2018
Getting ready for #WITMonth with a blogpost explaining the concept and outlining my reading plans, https://t.co/R40seXLtJm. Had an early start with the two Basque novels Her Mother's Hands and A Glass Eye. Can't wait to read Women Who Blow on Knots😊📚
@readathon I used to love a picture book with Mickey Mouse where there was a banquet-picture. I remember that every time we came to that page, I had my mom make voices for all of the people and tell me what they were saying. Took ages, but man I loved her doing that📚😊
Just finished A Glass Eye by Miren Agur Meabe. Quite odd and interesting:) Now on to At the River's Mouth as my second book in this summer's #reverse#readathon. Snacks gone already :/
@SelectedMusings Hi :) Before I say anything; I am an intern at this publishing company, so my comment might seem marketing-y. But I saw your tweet and instantly thought of our Carnivale series: https://t.co/cLjfby4yuh. Hope it helps :)
Life as a social media marketer - doing promotion for the novel "Women Who Blow on Knots" only to be told by Facebook's algorithm that you can't, because it sounds dirty. *sigh* :/
