@Gian_Fuoco They should be tech savvy before implementing a social media lesson to be aware of all the lesson's components, possible negative outcomes, and not to waste students' time!
@rsuissa29 Every since Youtube started doing them, I feel like yes, a lot of platforms are similar. It's more the appeal of the platform that counts at this point (e.g.: aesthetically pleasing, easy to use,..)
@tania_nssian They can definitely be beneficial for those in isolation. During COVID lockdown, they were extremely valuable - especially through FaceTime.
@AnmoldeepJagdeo I feel like keeping kids away from it as much as possible is best for their mental health, but I don't think guardians get to chose when we introduce social media anymore. It's introduced to them by peers or larger society.
@MirunaSpinu This happens a lot. Sometimes, I'll even have a conversation about something and when I pull up my phone, there're adds for what I discussed without having searched for it. It's creepy.
@SadikAhmed307 It for sure makes me feel uncomfortable, but a lot less than physical stalking. I think many of the people who do cyberstalk through social media wouldn't physically stalk.
@MirunaSpinu Yes, I often write a lot less and go straight to the point because we all have busy schedules and don't want to take up too much time. This creates miscommunication sometimes.
