@fordmoney Thank you for your response. I know that this is part of their procedure, my point was that you are the ONLY financial institution that I have dealt with requiring this. Every other one was happy with the Letters of Administration. It added an onerous extra step.

.@fordmoney I am dealing with my late husband's estate. You are the last financial institution that I am dealing with and the ONLY one (and there were many) that requires a Commissioner of Oaths to sign a Small Estates Form. You have made a hard thing harder.

@ICornishStudies We are not all farmers or fishermen or miners. My family back three generations before me were all in jobs like shopkeeping, railway police, police proper and service. They lived in towns. Then there were the merchant seamen, coastguards, boat builders and blacksmiths.

@Sal_Photo Thanks 😊 It took us 2 and a half hours from Treliske to GHaven last night. Missed our Asda delivery, kind delivery man suggested we go to Snozzle to rendezvous with our shopping😂 by then we only wanted gin, so did a pit stop at Waitrose 😂😂 instead.
