Anne Bird

Love people, animals, sun! Would like the government to stop the badgercull! European living in Bristol.

@davesumnersmith @RishiSunak I had hopes but it’s not happening. He is selling us down the river just like the other ones.

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@CarlBovisNature I know one! A chough. Never seen one in real life to my recollection though

[Carl Bovis @CarlBovisNature]

Dear @elonmusk, you've had your fun with X, we sniggered & played along, but a joke is only funny for a little while before it becomes quite tedious.
Time to return the iconic #TwitterBird to its rightful place. 🥰
We love the bird, we love the name 'Twitter'.🐦❤️
Thank you!

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@juliaca59959773 @SusanFo26109110 But never forget that EU does not have NHS higher pension needed to pay healthcare costs

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@Weeton64 @SusanFo26109110 @derek_brodie Yes but we do have NHS and are more likely to use it in old age. What a boon not to have to save for elements of health care

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

I am thinking when the bird disappears so will I

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

Seems now would be a good time to show everyone all the other places that you can find me on the Internet... just in case Elon does finally manage to kill Twitter...

💔😢 In our dreams, we witnessed a world where everything we hold dear was slipping away. We mourned the loss of nature's wonders, from Swallows to Small Coppers, Cuckoos to porpoises. Our hearts ached for rivers and meadows. 😭🌍 But when we woke up, we realized the harsh truth: the world is on fire. 🔥🌿 Let's join hands and take urgent action to protect our planet. Together, we can extinguish the flames and restore balance. 🙌💚 #SaveOurPlanet #ClimateEmergency #ProtectNature #ActNow #TogetherWeCan #HopeForTheFuture #RiseUpForChange

[Chris Packham @ChrisGPackham]

This afternoon I slept and dreamed it had all slipped away , that we were all ambling to the funeral of life . We were sobbing over Swallows and Small Coppers , crying about Cuckoos and porpoises , choking and gasping about rivers and meadows . And when I woke up . . . the world was on fire

[Carl Bovis @CarlBovisNature]

Sorry everyone. 🙏
My stance hasn't changed, I'm still furious & heartbroken by birds dying in agony in netting used by the likes of @asda & @BandQ..
If you feel the same way, use this hashtag now = #TakeItDown in all your replies & quote tweets!
#TakeItDown for the birds.🐦

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@ExBatsforEver Sounds a lot like my morning except I don’t have a foster cat and haven’t been hissed at (yet)

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@ek_gus @CarlBovisNature Swifts aren’t. They are more closely related to humming birds

[Carl Bovis @CarlBovisNature]

People are still not seeing my tweets on their timelines like they used to. 😔
If you follow me, and you see this tweet, please retweet. 🙏
To make it more worth sharing, here's one of my favourite pics I've ever taken; 'The Puffin and the bee' 😀🐦🐝

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@DeirdreNelson11 Yes and as soon as they did the swifts flew to their nests

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

Poor endangered swifts. Scaffolding put up is stopping them reaching their nest site. The scaffolders won’t take it down. #Clevedon @ChrisGPackham @CarlBovisNature any ideas?

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@majandmaltby As soon as the scaffolders removed the scaffolding they instantly flee to their nests

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@majandmaltby Thank you we are just waiting for the scaffolders to take down the bit that they need to today and hoping it’s not too late 🤞🤞

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@majandmaltby Yes so do I. I will let everyone know

[Anne Bird @annebird21]

@LesleyTotten @ChrisGPackham @CarlBovisNature Yes Clevedon on Alexandra road P&H scaffolding. Sorry for the delay in response. Police have been and stopped work scaffolders just need to take it down now
