Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
Also love how this crew completely breaks the stereotype that people from the sciences/engineering are purely logical and disconnected from their emotional selves. If anything, they've been EXCELLENT at communicating their human experience around the moon.
"We are a mirror, reflecting you."
Artemis II mission specialist Jeremy Hansen discusses ways that the crew worked together and supported each other throughout their lunar mission.

Me: There should be a Grammy for best judicial ruling.
You gotta read this.
Kaya naaamplify ang hate and noise eh, because of hurtful stereotypes like this. We won't get our opinions across and meet in the middle if we keep making cheap jokes like this.
I pray for you, too. I pray above all for #Peace. From here, war appears even more absurd. Let us pray for martyred Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Myanmar, Sudan, and Kivu.
More vids for the nostalgia. 🦋 Letting Go is prolly one of my fave DAY6's songs, and one of the reasons is THIS bass line. It's not the typical poste chord pattern. Had to immediately "ouido" it when I first heard it. 💖
