Super interesting thread. I personally haven’t heard providers claiming lived experience (yet) in autism research. But I will watch for it now. Paying more attention to explaining the “who” or “what” we are referring to feels vital for addressing “creep” of terminology.
@ClareHarropPhD I feel like the deeper we dive into topics (housing, dual Medicaid-Medicaid enrollees), with a focus on autistic people specifically, the more this is happening. And it’s problematic.
