Breakups in your 30s hit differently. It's not the same as heartbreak at 21. At 21, you cry, vent to friends, go out, distract yourself, and somehow you heal. Back then, life felt long, full of possibilities, what ifs, and( second chances). But in your late 20s or as you approach your 30s, it feels different. You are not only losing a person. You are losing plans, routines, and the version of yourself that was building a future with them.
i just read someone say “historically, men never provided for women, they simply restricted women from providing for themselves” and i haven't stopped thinking about it since.
Most men are gay. They're literally gay. Because they don't really like us women. Our natural bodies, they think it's gross. Our interests, they think it's cringe. Spending time with us, they think it's like a responsibility. And if a guy has a girlfriend, and instead of date night with her, he genuinely wants to be with the boys, and he feels it's a punishment that he can't spend time with his boys, he doesn't really like her. So I genuinely think most men are gay but they haven't figured it out because being gay is like also too feminine for them and they don't like feminine things.
curiosity is a love language.
i want someone to ask questions. i want someone who wants to know how my mind works, what i think about at night, what makes me smile for no reason. ask me about my fears, my dreams, the small things i don't tell everyone. stay in the conversation. don't just hear me, understand me. love me enough to wonder about me, not just have me. stay present. stay interested. choose to learn me every single day.
someone said:
Menstrual blood is the only blood that isn't born from violence but is the one that disgusts society most.
Felt that on a spiritual level.
@sydneyimpact Emotional vulnerability.
Meaning two people sitting in honesty. No masks. No performance. Just truth. When someone sees your fears, your wounds and scars, your ugly thoughts and stays, that intimacy can shake you deeper than skin ever could do.
In 200yrs from now, a whole new set of humans will walk on this Earth. We all will be gone. Strangers will live in your house not knowing that you 200yrs ago slept in the same room. No one will remember us. No one will visit our grave. No one will talk about us. We will just be another part of history, So no, it's not that deep.
