At the rezoning meeting on Friday night there were 4 motions (including mine) which proposed the rezoning of Citywest gold course be rejected, but before these Cllr Timmons had a motion in to accept the rezoning. I asked him to remove his motion but he wouldn't.

Unfortunately 22 councillors voted to rezone while only 16 voted with the will of the hundreds of residents who have emailed, submitted objections and called councillors.

As far as I am concerned, my responsability is not to help the government fix the housing crisis which is mostly of its own making, it is to the people in my LEA who feel they have been abandoned by the large parties and are no longer heard.
