Yesterday, @HaydenHuskies held a Black Leadership Conference that included students from its elementary feeder schools. In addition to an opening speech from @CurtisEnnisHDSB, workshops were held such as costume design, yoga, slam poetry, & more.

In acknowledgment of the horrific discovery of the remains of 215 children at the site of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School in BC, and in respect of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation, #HDSB flags will be lowered for 9 days: 1 hr. for each child found.
