@MollyMilbourne I think they create so much hatred because people believe they are being deceptive. They use tactics to sway people without them knowing it. Some just prefer straight forward media that’s less polarized. It’s great to see both sides when they’re accurately portrayed.#UWJ201 #315

@christinejmary I felt the same way and often feel comforted by this during breakout room discussions. People tend to think students at UW are polarized, but when talking in small groups everyone really listens to each other. This might be politeness, but it seems to go beyond that. #UWJ201 #315

@LazzaraJane This is really accurate, I think it’s forcing people to go to extremes on both ends of the spectrum when they don’t have to. Often, people tend to be more moderate, but strongly identify themselves with one party. It’s the cause of many mindless assumptions. #UWJ201 #315

@ZachHanser Occasionally, shows and movies make me view my everyday tasks as unimportant. This is very rarely the case because it’s mostly based on fiction. However, there’s definitely a way of finding a realistic sense of purpose through fictional films about the real world. #UWJ201 #315
