@LizaWhyatt @sweatystartup Agreed. In childhood there is no difference even in physical strength. I was raised with boys - brother, best friends, father. Friends raised as “just girls” grew up damaged and it has stayed with them.
@sweatystartup Not into this one. There are advantages and disadvantages in holding children back or sending them onwards. A reminder that in childhood there is no difference between the sexes. Treating kids like mini adults is flawed.

Just saw someone purporting to be Christian message a famous woman saying maybe the reason God hasn’t had them meet a man to have a baby with is because they support abortion. And now my faith in humanity is just…just awful everything.
@debracleaver@yunatalks I believe this. For the first decade of my career I was often the only woman in the room but didn’t always notice it because it was so normalised. Even as a woman I recall thinking there were a lot of women when the figure was only 20-30%.
@gabrielazanfir For sure and it’s non binding for that reason. It’s soft power exertion. I’m from a country that’s a “price taker” on global defence policy because Ireland is not in NATO so we don’t get to “decide” but that’s also our choice to not be bound
