Before confirming your total make sure you identify the donors who received your year-end appeal and code their donation accordingly.
I've seen a bunch of fundraisers minimize the totals their campaign has actually raised by not doing this!

Reminder to fundraisers and database admins as you work on reconciling your year-end campaigns: campaign donors don't just give through your campaign landing page.
They may have received your appeal but donated through the regular donation form on your website. Or through a third-party platform. Or maybe mailed in a cheque without the return envelope or buck slip.

Despite the cheerful greetings of connecting after the break, there’s no denying it – everyone is feeling the heaviness of heading into year 3 of the pandemic.
