I inherited a property after my step mum died. I had no intention of living in it or letting it out. . I was about to put it up for sale when it was flooded from a leak in an upstairs bathroom. The damage was extensive and left the house without electricity, ceilings. 1/2

Due to @scotgov legislation for council tax on second properties not only did I have to pay council tax on the property during the time the house was UNINHABITABLE I had company double council tax! Renfrewshire council would not look at this as an individual case.

Poor show @scotrail. My first train to Stirling this morning was delayed by 5 mins. 1 min to change platforms and get my connecting train to Inverness. At least 10 of us doing the same. Train on platform when we all got there, doors didn’t open

I was on the delayed 8.49 Glasgow Queen St to Alloa. It was 5 mins late. Staff at Stirling knew we were all ruining for the train. Others got to the platform ahead of me. It was still on the pjj K at form for at least 10 secs after I arrived and then it left. So frustrating.

Ticket collector said Stirling station staff knew there would be people running for the train. Surely 10 secs wouldn’t disrupt the network. That’s all it would have taken for all of us to get on the train. Instead we are all now delayed by 90 mins

@woodstorestudio First saw him in The Stables in Cromarty supporting King Creosote. Around 2018. He didn’t really stand out, I saw him at Connect in 2022 I was blown away by him. Such charisma and stage presence. Seen him a few times since then. Last night was special .
