While I hate this trope, I do know where it comes from. It mostly just Japanese hatred for cults and just using Christian imagery cause it's cool. I still find it insensitive,but thankfully games like Dragon Quest break this rule.

Nexus Mods has acquired SteamDB.

The site’s creator @thexpaw is stepping away after burning out from years of running it. He looked for a team he could hand the project over to, but never found anyone he fully trusted.

SteamDB will stay SteamDB for now, but over time, Nexus Mods will be slowly integrated in the site.
