Hi there, This month, I’m walking 31 Miles for Dementia UK – a cause close to my heart. I’d love your support to help more families facing dementia. Thank you! https://t.co/JWn8N0zlyo
🚨 Body Cam footage of NYPD officers killing a Black man.
Body camera footage released by New York's Attorney General shows correctional officers brutally beating 43-year-old Robert Brooks while he was handcuffed on a prison infirmary bed. Brooks died the next day.
Too on point not to share, “Aussie reply to Trump rant about NATO not being there for us.
Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
"NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your fucking mouth. Credit (borrowed from) Jim Scroggins - original author 📷 unknown”
Here is one safe prediction about Gorton and Denton. If Reform and Matt Goodwin do not win they will cry foul play & claim fraud. This is part of the Trumpian playbook: invoking 'the will of the people" & then rejecting it when it does not give you the result you want.
"The government have actively avoided looking for evidence Russia interfered."
The Intelligence & Security Committee's Stewart Hosie said the Toy government didn't investigate alleged Russian interference in the Brexit vote, and no one wanted to touch this "with a ten-foot pole".
Please repost if you want Starmer to set up a public inquiry into Russian interference in the Brexit referendum and the subsequent Tory cover-up.
It’s now painfully obvious Brexit hasn’t worked, and is actively harming us economically. (It didn’t even control our bloody borders!) Given the British people would clearly vote overwhelmingly to go back into the EU, we should have another referendum.
I’m delighted to be joined on my podcast this week by 76-year-old Paula, an amazing woman who reached out to me to share her experience of being taking HRT for over 30 years.
In this episode, Paula explains how she was prescribed HRT after a hysterectomy when she was 44, following a complicated gynaecological history, which included an ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cysts, fibroids and endometriosis.
She had been taking HRT for a decade when the 2002 Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study was released.
Paula explains how she researched the study, then weighed up her personal benefits and risks in discussion with her doctor and made the decision to carry on taking HRT.
Paula was happy to continue taking HRT for ever and credits it with helping her to feel better in her 70s than she did in her 30s!
Taking HRT is a personal choice but too many women struggle to be prescribed it when they want it or they are wrongly told they have to stop taking it at a certain age or after a certain length of time which makes no sense.

Thank you @StevenBartlett and @DrMohitKhera for talking about the importance of testosterone in women on the Diary of a CEO podcast.
Here are a few clips - well worth a listen and watch.
In our Newson Health clinic we consult with many thousands of women who benefit from testosterone yet have struggled to access advice and treatment elsewhere. We have a huge amount of clincial experience and knowledge about testosterone in women.
My research team are doing some important research with Prof Mohit Khera’s team about testosterone in women. This research will be transformational for health of women when it is published.

Andrew Norfolk, the retired reporter who uncovered the grooming scandal in Rotherham, has spoken to @thetimes to “put the record straight” about Elon Musk’s wild claims about the PM's time as director of public prosecutions.
“It was Starmer who changed the rules to make more prosecutions possible. That happened and there was a huge increase in convictions.”
He also told @TheNewsAgents: "These girls are being exploited all over again. Politicians jumping on the bandwagon after years of silence is shameful".
