NINETY PERCENT OF THE POWER IN MY SMALL RURAL COUNTY IS BEING USED BY A HYPERSCALE DATA CENTER, BITCOIN MINE THAT MASKS AS A *DATA CENTER*, AND A MODERATE BUT GROWING DATA CENTER.
THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
As Attorney General, part of my job is to protect consumers.
That includes your energy bill.
So today, I’m formally opposing Duke’s proposed 15% increase.
Our case is over 700 pages, but here’s the short version:
Conan’s riff on becoming a parent — and specifically how unexpectedly freeing it can be — has stuck in my brain ever since I heard it on the @BenSasse and @ChrisStirewalt podcast a few months ago.
Funny, true, heartfelt — aka classic Conan.
Glyphosate is completely banned in Vietnam, Togo, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Using glyphosate as a dessicant (drying agent) is illegal in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark, the Czech Republic and the entire EU!
Yet somehow all those countries still manage to produce food for all their citizens. How is that possible if glyphosate, as we are told by propagandists, is "necessary to grow food!" ?
Turns out they are just lying. You don't need glyphosate to grow food. You need carbon dioxide, sunlight, water and healthy soils, plus minerals, nitrogen, warmth and time.
Trump just declared, "glyphosate-based herbicides are a cornerstone of this Nation’s agricultural productivity and rural economy." And he's declaring glyphosate weedkiller to be a federally-protected critical resources.
This is insanity. He is now pushing the mass poisoning of American food crops and groceries with cancer-causing deadly weedkiller chemicals that will be sprayed all over the food crops.
Trump just declared chemical warfare on the American people. It's all here in black and white:

It’s important that you understand what happened last night.
Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue.
In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired.
CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.”
In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump.
But censorship always backfires.
Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.
Maher Tarabishi, age 62, was taken by ICE last October when he exited his immigration check-in appointment in Texas. He was the primary caregiver for his 30 year old son Wael, who suffers from a chronic muscular condition called Pompe disease. His father provided 24 hour care for many years.
Wael died today, his family told me. Wael’s heath had been declining ever since his father’s detention. He never got to say goodbye to his father. Maher will never see his son again.
Maher came to the United States in 1994. He is not a criminal. He paid taxes. He raised a family. He was attending his immigration check ins reliably. Now that family is destroyed. For what?
If our government has any compassion, Maher Tarabishi should be released from detention now. He should be allowed to attend his son’s funeral. May Wael rest in peace.
Is this what America has become? Is this what we want America to be? Spread the word: #FreeMaherTarabishi
@deronworld@Acyn North Carolina literally cannot get rid of her and I cannot think of a single accomplishment or good thing she has done for the state. She’s just… annoyingly there.
@JoeBrunoWSOC9 I have a real question: Romare is like the size of a football field. Why is it some uncontrollable hub for violence and drugs? Is it lack of police presence?
@JayQLyn@potatoslav https://t.co/ABIj6qgK4Q listen to this! I think you can find ways to discuss the practical importance of no screens without shaming the parent.
