@GeorgeMWME@AliceJaneGray Basically this. Messaged a lot on dating app + frequent zoom dates April until summer, then additionally when allowed outdoor dates. When realising we were both into smth more serious forming a bubble.

Things I love about academia #83: Elitist job adverts in 2020.
“Only candidates with a PhD degree in … in a well-reputed research group will be considered.”
Thanks, but no thanks. #AcademicChatter#phdchat
@ivana_brekalo@AdrienneACox Yeah, might be the case. Before we started I was confused about the no mask rule in the lab , but if you go in with a mask on (masks obligatory outside of labs) it smells much more intense (not sure if it correlates with uptake, though).
@Almeida_de_Dr@angew_chem@TehshikYoon This one https://t.co/vWpQTyILlr ? Given the tweet (without seeing the article) it doesn't sound explicit enough as the "featured author section" is a result of the actual problem that @angew_chem has little female corresponding authors https://t.co/umTxDTgs80 !
@L_Howes@paulhwalton@paulhwalton I am curious to see them too! I just surveyed 50 recent articles and found that 10 (20%) had female first authors and astoundingly.... only 2 (4%) manuscripts had female corresponding authors. Clearly, something needs to change. Thread: https://t.co/Iuuw6BFQYX
Wow, missed this yesterday, thanks @Cardella_D. Not too surprising these views still exist, but very disappointed from @angew_chem for publishing such a piece.
Hey #ChemTwitter,
Now is your time to put your money where your mouth is, I want to know how many established white male professors will publically denounce the latest pathetic excuse for an opinion by Tomáš Hudlický published in @angew_chem.
