@EricLDaugh CPI retreats from May’s inflation spike as temporary gasoline decline lowers monthly prices; annual inflation remains elevated at 3.5%.” Fixed it for you. You wouldn’t want to be intentionally misleading
@unusual_whales Fixed it for you, “ CPI retreats from May’s inflation spike as temporary gasoline decline lowers monthly prices; annual inflation remains elevated at 3.5%.”
@LexNaturae@EricLDaugh I’m not excusing anyone. Bidens inflation was the result of a global pandemic and the federal reserves decision to keep rates too low for too long. Trumps is because of a war and tariffs. These are facts. Current inflation numbers still mean were paying more and more.
@LexNaturae@EricLDaugh This isn’t a partisan post. It’s about data, supply and demand, and economic theory. Inflation was lower at the end of Bidens term then it is today with tariffs and the current war. You can look at the cpi prints for yourself. It’s not a debate.
