My Guide to Meme Coins
Everyone says they're a "serious investor."
Then Bitcoin goes sideways for three days...
...and suddenly they're buying a token called Emotional Support Hamster because someone on X posted three rocket emojis.
Let's be honest.
Most of us didn't come to meme coins because we love fundamentals.
We came because deep down we all think:
"What if this stupid thing actually does a 100x?"
The average degen portfolio looks something like this:
40% dog.
20% cat.
15% frog.
10% monkey.
5% something called PEPEWIFBONK420.
10% "I honestly can't remember buying this."
Every cycle we promise ourselves:
"This time I'll only buy quality projects."
Twenty minutes later we're aping a token because the logo has sunglasses.
We've all said:
"It's only a $20 punt."
"I'm early."
"The chart actually looks healthy."
"The dev seems genuine."
"This community feels different."
And we've all watched that same token become an archaeological site six hours later.
The truth is...
Meme coins aren't just trading.
They're psychology.
Greed.
Hope.
FOMO.
Delusion.
And occasionally... absolute genius.
Because once in a while, one of those completely ridiculous ideas actually becomes worth millions.
That's why we keep coming back.
Not because we're smart.
Because what if this is the one?

One thing I'll never understand about crypto...
Building a huge following, convincing your own audience to pile into a token, then being the first one taking profits while they're left holding the bag.
If people choose to copy your wallet knowing exactly what you're doing, that's their decision.
But using influence to drive buys because you know your followers will chase... that sits wrong with me.
Maybe I'm old school.
I don't really follow KOLs. I don't have heroes in this space. I don't think most of them offer much beyond attention.
I'd rather spend years learning how markets work than spend five minutes blindly copying someone else's conviction.
I'd rather lose because of my own decisions than win because I borrowed someone else's.
At least then I'm actually learning.
That's just how I see it.

Sometimes I feel bad thinking that most of ya’ll never knew a world before cell phones and the internet
the reason $wiwiwi is outperforming viral narratives is because there were core KOL believers such as myself and i think @remusofmars that thought it could do well.
our job as holders was to just hold and let community do their thing and not force it.
that being said, they luckily had some good leadership step up and do their thing.
that is why im saying, maybe viral/tiktok/etc isn't our main concern but a great once in a while narrative when it comes to plays on solana.
CT births most of these, and we make the choice most of the time.
$Neegy is one of the next up in tiktok trends, and as much as this dominates the narrative of tiktok runner, the rest will fall flat.
it's time to focus on community and adjacent narratives to other chains, simply bc it's just EASY to do and create consensus around.
