Y’all aren’t mad enough. Haven’t been for the last two years.
@HunterYurachek has destroyed Arkansas football with decisions that will likely have ramifications for decades.
This program is currently in worse shape than any school has ever been in the SEC. The future is bleak.
I was trying to talk myself into this hire, but this is confirmation that it’s even worse than I imagined. Dumbest person in sports thinks it’s a good hire.
Been a busy day, but let me quickly address Arkansas fans: Y’all hired one of the good guys of the profession today. You may be skeptical based on lack of conference titles but he was objectively successful at Memphis, he won’t embarrass you and you should get behind him.
Memphis fan here:
He doesn’t do anything football wise (I wish I was lying). He didn’t call plays on either side of the ball so in order to succeed you’ll need him to have great coordinators.
He’s extremely analytical I guess to make up for his inability to call plays.
He’s a great recruiter and can build relationships but actually utilizing the talent he acquires is hit and miss.
@DavidBazzel Baz, you’ve been a critic of the gameday experience for years. What gives you any shred of hope that the planning for anything would be better than this.
Ok, I’ve been crashing out for hours. I’m willing to be reasonable for a bit.
So someone give me a breakdown of Silverfield’s football philosophies. What does he want to do on offense or defense? What are his strengths and weaknesses as a coach?
