"I am no thing you can put into words" - me when someone asks about myself and my mind goes blank. I don't know, I'm just...me.
'I'm Not a Boy' is so good! I love it so much. Every line holds layers which everyone can relate to one way or another. Thank you @OmarRudberg π
If he reads into something you said in a way that makes him feel insulted, he has every right to block you. be mindful of how to speak with people before throwing words out, especially to someone you say you respect. he's human. words & actions have consequences.
One gen PSA on this: Omar 99.99% has no idea who y'all are behind your accounts. Being his fan, going to his concerts, buying VIP tickets & supporting his work does not mean you can speak to him in a one track minded, condescending & rude way that riles up more hate towards him..
@Maho9791 What about his mental health in January? Or when his music agency fucked him over? What about his mental health just last week? It's almost like he hasn't gotten a break this year π
@Maho9791 Like what does being a man, living his dreams and living in Europe have to do with anything? he's still a human being. as fans, why shouldn't we care about his mental health no matter his gender, bank account or post code...
@millystgeo@omarsdaisies@amyrudberg That's the thing though. taking his deleted tweets and using them to call him ignorant is not 'respectful educating'
you screenshotted replies he himself quickly deleted, just so you can use those same replies to call him ignorant an hour later, and you're wondering why he felt the need to block you? π€¨
@omrs4headcurlzz if you are a fan, you wouldn't have taken things too far to get your point across and be fine with the hate he's getting now because of it.
I mean...how self absorbed do you have to be to think he knows exactly who each and every single one of us are on here? especially if there is nothing in your profile that can be of any recognition to him?
@omrs4headcurlzz I never said she wasn't a fan, but she's the one who used her being a fan by saying she went to all his shows and paid for VIPs and stuff to validate that she shouldn't have been blocked. that shouldn't matter to him in the first place...
and the way you decided to criticise resulted in a consequence you didn't like and is now generating hate towards O from people who don't know anything about him with no context of what went on yesterday and you're comfortable with that? okay...
@omrs4headcurlzz yes, but not saying anything about him for months and then coming here the one time he did something she didn't agree with and taking his deleted tweets and using them against him (even now after he explained himself) doesn't seem fair now, does it? one action resulted in another
@omrs4headcurlzz okay, but that doesn't mean he knows '''who''' she is. the number of shows she's been to doesn't matter in relation to a username out of so many that already exist with that same last name.
lastly, you being his fan does not mean he can't feel any type of way about what you say to/about him. going to his shows doesn't give you the right to have immunity over his feelings. he might not even have recognised who you are on here anyway.
be an advocate for what you believe in all you want, but there are kinder ways to do so. keeping tabs and using the word ignorant, though I know the proper meaning is not offensive, might also have connotations with being taken as an insult when paired with negative tones.
