Imagine if Swatantra Bhardwaj were a Muslim and had said the exact same things about Hindus. By now, every agency would be after him. Godi media channels would be going after him nonstop. RW leaders would be using him as an example to tell us how Muslims are a menace and blah blah.

But Swatantra is a Hindu. That too, a right-wing poster boy, an upper-caste man who openly hates Muslims and Dalits. So not only is the right-wing government shielding him from arrest, he’s also become some kind of hero for upper-caste folks who share his casteist views.

And please stop calling Swatantra and his ilk fringe. They aren’t. They are saying and doing things that many of their followers fantasise about doing to Muslims and Dalits. That’s what makes this so disturbing. Feels like we are running out of time to save this country from the kind of hate that’s being manufactured and encouraged by the state.

Therefore, I, along with other Cockroach Janta Party members will reach the Parliament Street Police Station tomorrow at 10 AM and seek justice for Sanjay ji and Nishu.

When this attack happened, I personally went to the DCP and asked him to arrest these goons. The DCP replied, “We can’t arrest people randomly.”

I told him, “The attack happened right in front of the police. How can you say you can’t arrest them?”

To which the DCP replied, “You are free to go to the courts”
