@AJ3Jazz I mean… 4 out of the last 5 nba champions have been led by smaller dudes or those with good positional size. And the 1 out of the 5 who was led by a big (Jokic) is generational.
But it doesn’t hurt to stack some size up to help out for sure.
@HollyWilbur2@realDrTT I know, he definitely appreciates the foundation he built during his time there. It definitely prepared him to receive further light and knowledge today.
@ThisMomSaid I don't think I knew you were in St G. I live over by Snow Canyon. Neighbors! Food recs are ALWAYS welcome. I've hit these guys' food truck, but it's great to know they have a physical store. 🤤
@ArtTakesNote Meh. It’s like 3 hot women walking in. You may be leaving with your 3rd choice of the group, but hey you’re still leaving with a hot woman.
@TheHoopHerald Kon. I expect Harper to be a starter in this league eventually and have a very good career, but I think Kon is going to be one of the best #2 options in the league.
@SpencerKeele This is why I love the AJ fit despite drafting a SG in the top 5 last year.
He and Ace are very much in the mold of Hayward, Brown, and Tatum in that they can play the 2 or 3 interchangeably and even minutes at the 4.
@TheRealRigelis What I am NOT looking forward to is if one of the 3 pops, but not the one we drafted. %'s say this could very well happen. We'll be hearing about it for years....🙄
1 - Tithing first.
2 - Try not to carry too much debt, but if you do, then play the %'s. For example... let's say you have $10,000. Now let's say you can invest in something with a 9% return, but you also have a car loan that has 3% interest. It's tempting to put more money on the car to pay it off, but you actually can build wealth by paying the min payment (with 3% interest) while investing and getting 9% back. This applies to many decisions of buying things with cash vs financing. You can buy something in cash, but have nothing left to invest. Low rates are a huge plus for your wealth strategy.
3 - Decide what means more to you and your family (not the Jones') between stuff and experiences. Then work that into your family budget and life.
Jazz nation might blow a fuse trying to make that decision lol.
At this point, most are happy taking whichever of AJ and DP is available after Washington's pick. But you have them making a choice between the 2 here 🤣
Personally, I would go with AJ like you did....but just barely.
@awiserun@collinsworth55 😂. I may have been an athlete in college, but these days I feel like I’m as coordinated as a panda bear! Me in my 60’s….probably ⬇️
He’s phenomenal and will be an all star in the league for a decade. If we end up with him I’ll not feel like we “lost” in the draft.
That being said, my choice would be to take a home run swing on the other 2 after the amount of losing we’ve endured. They have MVP level potential.
