@another_ted_2@SP4CECOP My apologies Ted, know that any time I make a me and space cop joke I haven’t forgotten about your bravery and perseverance, you’re truly the best of us
Netflix film chief Dan Lin tells @nytimes that if any director asks Netflix to give their film a theatrical release, they will be shown the door.
“There is a group of filmmakers who still want theatrical. Those are filmmakers that we’ve accepted we just won’t work with.”

@bornposting@_onthewayjay I look down on everyone I know who thinks he's cool because I think he's cool in a smart and good way and they think he's cool in a dumb and ill-informed way
@bartonovopolis The only time I've had to actually stand up and say something was when Spider-Man 3 re-released. Bunch of teenagers in the back treating it like they're own riff-track.
@basedgizmo I often feel inclined to pick male when it's something like Dragon Age or Mass Effect because it always feels like the "canon" or default option, and I feel I can roleplay into the role easier, which is why I always want female to be the only option.
@w0ruis@TheDougFiles That whole plotline has Obi-Wan being a noir detective. Of course he has old friends with information, you can't be a detective without those.
Can tell you right now I would not have cared at all about GTA 6 without a female protagonist and would not have been excited for The Witcher IV. Tomb Raider would not be nearly as good with a male protagonist. God of War: Laufey is instantly obviously more my kind of game.
