Sometimes growing up in a village/ rural small town has its own rules. And sometimes you end up a little surprised that wielding a chainsaw at 14 with a pair of gloves and protective glasses as the only protective gear is … not a universal experience and indeed frowned upon.
Asdfghjkl, my best friend is such a good actor. The last time I saw him perform, he played his character so well that I got genuinely scared of him. I wish he’d do more on-stage work 👀
Me, looking at photos of child me: “How did anybody ever think I’m not neurodivergent?”
(So many photos of me wandering off or being distracted from whatever other children were patiently observing/ waiting for.)
I should probably add that a) not talking about Olympic fencing here where wearing white is what you do and b) yup, I know how to deal with rust. It’s just annoying.
Very spontaneously went fencing this evening in my work clothes and tbf a white shirt is very impractical in our sport - because I swear to God these bloody weapons start to collect rust the second you look away - but it does look pretty neat.
Footage of my poor GP and me figuring out the ways in which weird stuff that my body does affects other weird stuff that my body does and how to solve the resulting issues.
(I’m fine. It’s just a little annoying.)
I'm sad, but I must say @KingdomComeRPG, Tom and Jim were very close to winning, so it's not that we didn't try good enough; we just were not as large a fanbase as the competitors. Yes, we are smaller, but our support matters, and we did our best! And we will keep supporting! ❤️🩹
It’s official - @KingdomComeRPG is nominated for THREE (!) awards at @thegameawards!
• Best Narrative
• Best RPG
• GAME OF THE YEAR (🥹🥹🥹)
This is huge. Absolutely huge!!!!
LA, @WarhorseStudios is coming!!!
Oh my, we crashed and burned here for a bit. But hey, we got a shiny new diagnosis out of it. It’s ADHD - which surprised absolutely nobody who has met me irl 🥳
Yes, being bilingual is great. Until you suddenly have to switch languages and everything comes out wrong, i. e. with the right words and the wrong grammar. Or you say the right idiom in the wrong language. Or you had a great pun and wonder why it doesn't work (wrong language!).
