It’s the race of a man against the unmoving deadline of his own mortality and a world that has moved past him.
This game does a better job at making you feel what your character is feeling than most releases today.
One of the things I’m liking the most about mgs4 is that in the beginning of the game, CQC is basically worthless for Snake.
He’s a legend and a master of CQC, but war has changed (hehe) so much, and he’s gotten so old, that it’s better to just shoot when he’s been found.
If you get discovered and you try to do CQC, the damage you do is so small that you have no choice but to run and hide or just shoot them.
It’s the game almost telling you that, while Snake is running a marathon, everyone else is driving supercars.
Kinda jealous of whoever got to see Red Vox live because I’m in Mexico and I have literally zero way of getting there, but I hope whoever went there had the time of their lives
This is an idea I came up with whilst drunk, and yet I think it shows that Avatar can be engaging and modern without having to repeat Aang’s story for the infinitesimal-time.
Nickelodeon, if you’re hiring, my dms are open and my wallet doesn’t take much to fill up.
I watched a video on why Avatar games suck, which led me to think that every single Avatar adaptation sucks.
And that made me think of a new concept for Avatar that would kick ass, and if it ever gets produced I want producer level credits.
Doing a dumb influencer thread 🧵🪡
You can also have sidekicks who are benders and influencers, so you can have an interesting conflict full of shock and awe between them and the Avatar, all for the sake of relevance on social media.
As well as the corporate overlords who attempt to squash down the Avatar.
