This stag was killed by the Tiverton Staghounds, on 27th October 2025.
The hunt met at Two Posts Cross, Pennymoor. The kill happened at Cadleigh after yet another long, agonising chase. Once dead, he was dragged by the antlers, trussed up and then hung from the back of a quadbike in a final indignity.
This hunt switched between various exemptions to suit to kill this stag, but it always ends up the same - a long and torturous chase which ends in these magnificent stags being carved up into trophies.
It’s time to end trail hunting and all the absurd exemptions which are utilised by hunts to cover illegal and barbaric hunting. With just 5 days left before the consultation closes - please give the government your views on this cruelty, ⬇️

Today, on his birthday, we celebrate our late Ambassador Paul O’Grady.
Paul was a passionate animal lover, an LGBT icon, and a dear friend of Battersea. He will always be remembered as a hero to us and the animals whose lives he changed. 💙
Another one 💔
Gabi has found this boy in terrible, matted condition by the side of the road.
He’s now been shaved but we need to raise funds for his care costs.

Ricky Gervais being criticised by Janet Street Porter & Nick Ferrari on ITV This Morning for celebrating the beautiful foxes in his London. They would both rather demonise & spread fear over these wonderful wild animals @rickygervais@thismorning

Goal nets can kill animals 😢.
Please make them when not in use.
Pack them away or safely store all netting indoors after you finish playing.
If you cannot remove the net entirely, roll it up or tie the netting securely at least 18 to 24 inches (45 to 60 cm) off the ground so animals can pass underneath safely.
Please help save their lives 🙏.
Can we please ask you to Share for Axl? He’s not had any enquiries at all. We cover the whole of Scotland and beyond for the right home.
Axl is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd Cross Rottweiler.
He is good with older kids but will bark at other dogs.
Axl is in need of a new home through no fault of his own.
He is chipped and chemically neutered.
Axl is healthy with no medical issues.
He eats a mix of wet and dry food and is also crate trained.
He sleeps in his crate and is registered at the vets.
Axl is okay in the car and will bark at people to begin with but will settle.
He would be best without other dogs or cats in a home.
Ideally he would suit someone who can give him further training.
Axl is vaccinated.
For more information or to offer a new home please email [email protected]
We are desperately looking for a new home for Junior but haven't had any luck at all with his appeals. Can you please share to help him on his way?
Junior is a 6 month old Malinois cross Mastiff. He is available and looking for a new home through no fault of his own.
Junior would be best in a home with no other pets due to his size and dominance over other dogs.
He is young enough to be trained however we will be very specific in his new home as we'd like someone who is use to the breed and can demonstrate that they can train him and offer him the guidance he needs.
Junior hasn't been around kids much. He would be best with older children of a teenage age due to his size.
He is chipped and eats meat pouches and biscuits.
Junior is use to being left on his own for any length of time and is great meeting new people.
He hasn't met any cats.
Junior is okay on the lead but will need training with this. He is also registered at the vets and loves playing with toys.
He is walked around 3 times a day and likes to go to the park.
For any information please email [email protected]
Please don't scroll past Sam 🐶
This wonderful boy is still searching for his forever family.
He's an older lad, but don't let that fool you - he's young at heart and still has lots of love yet to give.
Could Sam be the one for you? 🐾

Brian May didn't just donate money to animal welfare. He personally purchased British farmland and forests with his own money ~ and converted them into permanent wildlife sanctuaries. He resigned from the RSPCA for not doing enough. He refuses to play Glastonbury over badgers. The Save Me Trust is not a side project. It is Brian May's second career.
Most rock stars put their name on a charity.
Brian May buys farmland for his.
The Save Me Trust was founded in 2009 by Brian May and conservationist Anne Brummer — originally to campaign against the possible repeal of the Hunting Act in the UK.
It has never stopped growing since.
Today Save Me Trust campaigns against fox hunting, the badger cull, factory farming, live export, trophy hunting, driven grouse shooting, the use of snares, and the captivity of orcas and other cetaceans.
But what most people don't know — is what Brian May has funded personally.
The Save Me Trust manages private land ~ purchased and protected specifically for this purpose by Brian May himself. Land that was previously wilderness-deprived commercial forest or farmland. Enhanced. Restored. Converted into wildflower meadows. Protected permanently.
The Trust operates alongside Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue ~ which rehabilitates injured British wildlife and releases them back into the wild through secure soft-release sites that Brian May's funding helps maintain.
In 2023 ~ Proud Galleries presented a £5,000 cheque to Save Me Trust ~ generated from ticket sales and book signings at Brian May's Stereoscopy Is Good For You exhibition in London. Every event Brian May does ~ feeds back into the animals.
He resigned from the RSPCA as Vice President in 2024 ~ publicly ~ because he felt even they weren't doing enough.
He refuses to perform at Glastonbury because its co-founder supports badger culling.
He has addressed Parliament directly. Led protests through London. Fronted BBC documentaries. Funded research. Bought countryside.
A man who once played to 250,000 people in Brazil —
Spends significant portions of his personal fortune buying British farmland.
To give Hedgehogs somewhere safe to sleep.
Thank you for caring for the animals @DrBrianMay 🙏.
Aperol 😍started todaywith a stretch and a pose because he knows the only reason he’s not reserved yet is because too good for everyone 🤣
Plz share 🙏🏻❤️
Before we all get carried away building more bombs and guns to make war on each other, maybe it’s time we made peace with this precious planet we all call home
