Since learning more math fundamentals for ML, the phrase "let's first build an intuition" comes up a lot. I'm surprised how little that approach of building a mental model first was used in other domains of my own education. v.helpful. Is the approach more common in math edu?

GitHub moving to use React was a mistake,the UI is now laggy- take permalinks to line numbers for example: Page first loads at top:0, with no indication of an anchor, and can take over a second(s) to suddenly jump to the linked code line eventually highlighting the line. Jarring.
