NF always puts us in his headspace, but I think a new way that he’s doing that in this EP is bringing us to ask the question he’s asking himself – Is this it? Is this the end of his career in rap?
It’s interesting that his final track Washed Up is essentially the antithesis to his first track on his first project – another 6 song EP that began with All I Have.
To begin with a 6 song EP, to end with a 6 song EP; to begin by talking about music is all he has, to end with asking if he still has it – the symmetry kinda leads you to wonder if this truly is or isn’t the end of his music journey, and I think that uncertainty is at least part of the point because that's where he's at too.
It’s been a minute. Still on the weight-loss journey, just unfortunately not as far along as I’d like to be.
Lots of changes in my life since I last posted. But I’ve been missing the encouragement and community on here that was incredibly helpful to me in times past. Glad to be back!
@tyromper A great reminder, especially because Mondays can be the toughest days to approach with gratitude.
We GET TO start our week. Every day is a blessing! 👊
Leg day today 💪
I’ve got my gym routine pretty dialed in, but I’ve gotta figure out a way to hit 10k steps more consistently.
I work a job that requires me to be at the desk for long stretches of the day, so getting my steps in can be a real challenge.
@thymeatfamily I understand that! For Planet Fitness, the price is right, and a friend of mine joins me before work each morning.
I hope to one day have a home gym though too!
Had breakfast yesterday morning, and was planning to fast for 24 hours.
But I wasn’t hungry at all after the gym this morning, so decided to stretch my fast on out to 36 hours.
Got Monday started off right 💪
Didn’t get a chance to get to the gym last week due to snow and ice. However, I felt stronger this morning than I did a couple weeks ago.
One question I find I have to ask myself constantly:
What am I delaying to do?
Procrastination has always been a struggle. And, too many times, what “I’ll get to later” usually doesn’t get done at all.
That's probably a big reason I ended up obese in the first place. The mentality that today’s food choices are always tomorrow’s problem to fix. It’s a vicious cycle.
