@GarettJones Your graph is more useful but both represented by % difference from your start would be better. From what this graph looks like a 4x salary growth vs 5x housing price. Certainly not as bad as commonly seen but hard to tell.
Or perhaps a avg house/salary in a single line.
@pknoepfler I have yet in nearly a hundred uses gotten an AI overview that was correct without some major caveat. It has just been a slight hindrance, annoyance, and time waster.
@Rainmaker1973 This is actually a common misconception. The electrons don't leave the drive. They are moved between the energy states within the drive. This does create a charge difference in one part of the drive but doesn't change the charge or number of electrons in the drive.
@BullishDumpling The confusion is that the majority of people who say they are middle class are not. They are working class. This compounds with the fact that middle class is literally defined as anyone between upper and lower class.
@Culture_Crit The order is switched up. "Artist" cranks out garbage and sells it to brokers for thousands. Millionaire buys paintings from brokers usually in a flashy way to impress friends for millions (the brokers throw elaborate high profile parties which is their real job). Donates it...
@PhotonTexas@GadSaad To be fair while Muslim groups have the stated goal for genocide of the Jewish people. The only groups who commit the genocide of Muslim groups are other Muslim groups. That is, very unfortunately, the facts.
@freganmitts I have no idea about payoffs. At best that sounds like a misunderstanding.
There were programs that paid the hospital and family for covid deaths. After the funding ran out recently the reports of % covid deaths dropped off a cliff and other causes resumed normal %.
@RobertMSterling While this is a flawed take. It is a good demonstration of how low margin most consumer facing businesses are. Even a modest hit to profit for many stores would make them unprofitable and close. This is why high crime neighborhoods pay 30% more.
@StuartJRitchie What you are actually having problems with is that different people have a factor difference in abilities to project sounds or images in their mind. The real truth is brains don't work in words, sounds, or images. You have signal patterns which correspond to literally anything.
@paulnovosad I think part of the problem is editors are not banning people who have been caught. When I was part of an editor group we would ban people from the journal if they were caught and we would always pursue a claim. We would often ask the other reviewers to help check.
@elonmusk New York is buckling under a load less than a tenth that Texas has been under. 10k/mo vs 100-240k/mo. Tx has had to deal with this for years now. I hope people start to understand how such large numbers can bring any state or nation to collapse.
@RobertKennedyJr@Dennis_Kucinich I hope you run as a candidate no matter as a democrat or independent. USA deserves a real choice to change the status quo.
@powerbottomdad1 Speaking as an American who has traveled both Europe and USA pretty extensively. Europe has more historical variety but is moving towards uniformity. The USA has a short history but is diverging culturally due to the immigrant mixtures. BTW 4-6 languages in Boston alone.
@emollick This would be a nice idea. However authors often state conclusions as fact leading to misreports by the media taking these articles as fact and spreading false conclusions worldwide. The authors would have to learn to not get carried away by their excitement.
@freganmitts Public schools taught them to shut up and sit is how class works.
I ask students to line up and will record questions for distribution if students have left. My biochemistry class used to have a line around the entire lecture hall. Silly.
