दिल्ली के लाल क़िला के पास जिस कार से धमाका हुआ, उसके मौजूदा मालिक का नाम देवेंद्र सिंह है। डेढ़ साल पहले उन्होंने यह कार सालमान नाम के व्यक्ति से खरीदी थी। लेकिन मीडिया में सिर्फ़ पुराने मालिक का नाम चलाया जा रहा है, जबकि मौजूदा मालिक देवेंद्र सिंह का नाम जानबूझकर छिपाया जा रहा है।

शुरुआती रिपोर्ट में बताया गया था कि यह सीएनजी सिलेंडर फटने की वजह से हुआ, लेकिन अब यह भी कहा जा रहा है कि यह फिदायीन हमला (सुसाइड अटैक) भी हो सकता है। जांच एजेंसियाँ सभी पहलुओं से मामले की पड़ताल कर रही हैं।

Rizwan Ahmad, a Muslim man, was assaulted at a tea shop in Uttarakhand, India, after refusing to chant Hindu nationalist slogans such as “Glory to Lord Rama”.
