Mixed feelings about the abrupt closure of the #OntarioScienceCentre. Loved it as a kid, disappointed how tired it felt taking my own kids 10-15 years ago. “Safety concerns” feels politically convenient, but really a reset has been long overdue.

Live audio sync by a commentator is truly an epic skill. #BlueJays

[Mike Wilner @Wilnerness]

Is @DShulman_ESPN ever doing an incredible job right now. They haven't fixed the audio, he has.

Dan is watching the game live AND keeping an eye on a monitor to not be ahead of what we're seeing on TV.

You can hear the crack of the bat well before he makes the call. What a pro.

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

Dan and Joe talking on a shared cell phone a good 5 seconds out of sync with the video is still a superior production to Apple TV Friday Night Baseball. #BlueJays

Emma Stone winning Best Actress was my favourite moment (followed by I’m Just Ken). Such a great and courageous performance. Oh and congrats to Team Gushue! #Oscar2024 #Brier2024

Brian Mulroney is who I think of as my Dad’s prime minister. Back when politics was still a respectable profession.

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

@Jayqueeze Me too! Sasquatch and aliens. What’s not to love?

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

@ChrisKnightfilm Completely agree….

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

As a country we should be embarrassed about this. It affects us all but particularly our most vulnerable. Our politicians let it, if not willed it to happen. Shameful. https://t.co/ATHQfG3haT

Toronto. Come for the public transit. Stay for the decades of construction and unfulfilled promises of public transit.

Thank god that’s over. Overhyped and underperformed all season long.

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

We send Springer, Vladdy, and Whit to the plate with runners in scoring position that inning, and not one of them can make a productive out. #frustrating

This wasn’t supposed to be the stat Toronto was most proud of this season.

[Mike Wilner @Wilnerness]

39,722 in the house tonight. Collectively, they have taken down 69,515 #LoonieDogs so far. #Bluejays

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

Tremendous.

[Andrew Torres @anscan]

Sad end for such a promising talent. Didn't deserve the vitriol she got for a single political protest at the age of 25.

I am sickened that this could happen so close to home and at my alma mater no less. How does anyone get so triggered by the mere concept of gender fluidity that they resort to violence? Live your life, and let others live theirs. 🏳️‍🌈

[Ahmar Khan @AhmarSKhan]

James Chow was in the UWaterloo gender studies class, where a professor and two students were stabbed in a hate-related attack.

This is the most detailed explanation and recounting of events from any witness so far — it’s a must listen. The events are terrifying.

@agnesmartin99 @stevenpage @torontolibrary Pretty sure I was working in Toronto that term so decent chance I was at the Dec 2 show - but your memory is better than mine!

@pounsey Let’s hope he finds his form.
