Holiday over. Taxi picks us up in one hour as we head to Fuerteventura Airport to fly back to sunny Bristol, UK.
Corralejo has been great and the 10 days here with most of the family was amazing. The only setback was the burglary when we were sleeping. But that is what it is now.
🇬🇧 The UK Ministry of Defence has launched an emergency security response after discovering that Chinese-made cameras on the Royal Navy’s K3 Scout drones were secretly transmitting data to an IP address in China.
The 27-foot, £12 million uncrewed vessels are used by Royal Marines and special forces. Cyber assessments found the cameras sending unauthorized “heartbeat” signals.
The MoD has cut all internet connectivity from the cameras and says there is no evidence sensitive data was compromised.
Another trip around the sun completed. That’s 43 in total now 🌞
Spending the day with family at our villa in Corralejo, Fuerteventura.
Security works are complete following being robbed whilst sleeping two nights ago. Still all feel a bit uneasy, but at least nobody got hurt.
Fucking villa was broken into last night when we were sleeping. My family were sleeping..
Few bits stolen and police have a suspect already.
I’m so angry. Corralejo Feurtventura
Suspect is a 21 year old drug addict with record of this type of crime.
Wish I’d woken up 👊
@tonyddpg@one_miloo I’ve seen an old 1700’s farm house which had 3 roofs added over the centuries of varying pitches and design. It was really interesting. That said, the rainwater goods could only serve the outer roof as the total construction depth was around 500mm.
