I am genuinely shocked and happy to see how many people are finally seeing how good Pau Cubarsi actually is

I get the people who watch Barcelona 2-3 times in a season will judge him based on that but I have read multiple posts from Spanish/La Liga fans.

He has been Barcelona's best CB for past two seasons and doing that at the age of 18 & 19 is no joke. I know a lot of people judged him based on the red card he received against Atletico in the 1st leg (which was not a red card imo) but that didn't affect him.

The highline he is playing at Barcelona is actually one of the most demanding defensive styles and he has been absolutely brilliant.

Now I also think he still needs and has a lot of time to gain experience and learn a lot of things but that comes with time.

I hope Deco and Co. gets a good LCB to partner him because he is a unique CB profile that Barcelona have.

We have another Gem at Barcelona that peoplw don't appreciate enough

Simply put Ghana have a simple plan in mind and have executed it to perfection

England on the other hand don’t have players who can break this deep low block with their passes will be really interesting how Tuchel approaches the 2nd half

Real Madrid’s transfers

- Ibrahima Konate on a free
- 30 year old Dumfries on a free
- 31 year old Bernardo on a free
- €150m bid for Alvarez that nobody confirmed existed

- €15m for Jose Mourinho

More money spent on a coach than players

Flick has communicated to Hector Fort that he is counting on him, at least, for the preseason. The German coach wants to closely follow his evolution before any decision is made related to his future, which remains open for the next season.

The club considers if he meets the expectations he can provide competition for Jules Kounde at the RB position.

Hector Fort for Elche last season

- 👕 17 Appearances
- ⏰ 641 Minutes
-⚽️ 3 Goals
- 🎁 2 Assists

If Hector Fort convinces Flick it would be interesting to see what happens with Xavi Espart whether he goes out on loan or not

ONE TO WATCH OUT FOR IN THE PRESEASON

In all this transfer drama, the biggest loser imo is Julian Alvarez.

- Real Madrid never wanted him
- Atleti didn't want to sell him
- Barcelona won't be signing him now or in the coming years

Unless he pushes for PSG or Arsenal, this would go down as one of the worst career paths a player would have chosen
