People dissing and getting happy that AI companies are hiring engineers, copywriters, designers, etc - are evaluating the wrong thing
The signal isn't that of replacement; it's about what one person can do by building a strong AI skill set. The output has drastically increased (not debating quality/quantity here)
for the longest time, the growth marketing team at @AnthropicAI was literally one person (run entirely by @helloitsaustin )
Designations might remain the same, but roles and their scopes are bound to change and will expand (hence, the premium on compensation)
also, scope and revenue won't grow proportionally, which means fewer people will do more (better margins, lower headcount)
If there's one quality you can build, please let it be your ability to evaluate the second-order effects of any decision.
@tankots Love the simplicity @tankots. Just one observation on copy - considering this is a new market for you, will the copy make sense for people looking at it? Since this is your first brand campaign not sure audience will connect the copy with your product offering!
@bcherny is there a plan for improving usage for paid users? Pro plan is almost entirely unusable, even for low value tasks. And I’m saying this after trying all possible hacks ranging from new chats to using the caveman method.
