@pimomormon Sort of crazy not recognizing that people who leave the church have had this conversation with themselves both before and after leaving.
Happiness comes in different forms for different people. There is no one formula.
@AngoraGoatLady@dogeydaycare @alive_lake The French have a bad reputation in Moab!
But really people from everywhere lose their minds somewhat. I used to call it sandstone fever. Even my brother and family (Scottish) would get out of the car and leave the doors open when startled by the scenery.
@b00mb00mb0ris@AngoraGoatLady @alive_lake Yes. I’ve seen this happen. Americans are very poor at distinguishing nationalities of East Asians. Japanese and Chinese don’t sound the same even to a non speaker, but most in US aren’t familiar with the sounds. Korean sounds different too.
@dogeydaycare@AngoraGoatLady @alive_lake Watching Americans at Yellowstones is also mind bending.
I lived in a tourist town and took tourists on 4WD tours. Actually most foreigners were less trouble than Americans. But having people in the middle of nowhere with only me to get them back, made them respectful. 😂
@AngoraGoatLady @alive_lake Tourism brings out strange things in people. I lived in a tourist town. There is something about being in an unfamiliar place with that infects people’s minds. Imagine taking a selfie with a dangerous animal. Stoping the car in the road and leaving all the doors open. Happens.
@nerdphobik@powerofvethoe I think the hardest thing must be seeing how easily Vince lies to everyone.
I’m sure he will lie and cry his way into her good graces again.
@kpk12357 When I hear Katherine say these things, I question how Katherine would go on a cut throat game show expecting to be insulated because of her grief. Grieving for the death of a loving mother is a years long process. I cut her slack because she is still very young.
