Liverpool Football Club celebrates its 134th birthday today 🎈
The club officially came into existence on June 3, 1892, after founder John Houlding set about creating a new team on Merseyside that year 🔴
A special story was underway... ✨
On behalf of Forever Reds, the former players association, I would like to extend our sincere support and best wishes to two of our greatest Sir Kenny Dalglish and Kevin Keegan and their families. Whether they be former teammates, managers or heroes, we are with them. YNWA.
@DKingTelegraph Will end in disaster has every hallmark of what they done with Rodgers and bringing in ODriscoll and Gary Mac. Then Slot sacked in October and 10 points off the top
@GraemeBailey@TEAMtalk Surely we will see the mutual consent line regarding this one stating missing his family etc as no way firstly he will attract top players. Has lost the dressing room and the fans. Just can’t continue
@LFCKOPVIEW 100% At least he would have fought for the shirt. We know he adores the club. Let’s be honest the transfer window last year has turned out to be a shambles with the ins and outs. And not a hope in hell Slot can turn this around. Needs the ‘mutual consent’ departure or god help us
@AnfieldSector So so painful to watch isn’t it. Being a centre forward in this set up peak Rush would struggle with Slots tactics. Absolutely bewildered how he will still be manager next season
@ianyoungkop Was thinking that exactly myself when we sold off so many leaders when Souness took charge has that horrible feel to it again and look how long it took us to recover back then
@DaveOCKOP Let’s be honest the last calendar year performances have been a complete disaster bar say 5/6 games. Slot seems to love getting rid of big personalities in the squad he can’t handle them or maybe they just don’t rate him and happy to move. Believers to Doubters 😢
@AnfieldEdition@TheAnfieldWrap Just a pure disconnect now between management players and fans. All fans ask is put in effort give 100% each game. So far off that. And clips from training shows pure lack on intensity and desire and that stems from bad coaching and management
Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season.
The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield ❤️
@TheKopHQ I think the lack of management from the top has been dreadful in this case. After the PSV and Forest humiliations that should have been the axe. We are playing the dullest most shambolic style of football in the league. Last night was humiliating. We have to be decisive now
