Genuinely pains me…
The very people who’ll be hurt most by Farage’s policies are the ones cheering him on
He votes against sick pay
Against ending fire&rehire
He wants to privatise the NHS
What will it take for you to see he’s not on your side?
He gives you someone to blame, so you look the other way while he lines his pockets
Wake up
You’re being played by a millionaire who wouldn’t last 5 mins living your life.
@Se_Railway on the 1434 train CHX out to Headcorn and stuck at East Croydon station, route planners are saying quickest way is to go back to London and get the train via the usual Sevenoaks route (assuming that engineering workers have finished). Any ideas?
Just seen a headline in one of the papers, saying Boris Johnson is about to publish his memoirs. A good time to remember this superb letter written during the pandemic.
@CockertonMark I really don’t mind paying a bit more tax if when my family or I need public services they’re available. Like an Ambulance, Police or Fire when I dial 999, a hospital bed with nurses and doctors, teachers for the school age kids, local council services etc.
I challenge @RishiSunak to release the #Russianreport - unredacted - and let’s finally start talking about something important in this election campaign. Do please retweet if you agree.
THREAD: 8 years ago, the UK voted to leave the EU.
Here's a 'Sliding Doors' style look at what we could have won had the vote gone the other way.
It's also a blueprint for the potential benefits of a future Rejoin movement.
Each tweet below covers one aspect of EU membership.
If you found this thread of interest, please share it with others by retweeting the FIRST tweet so that people can see it all laid out.
To make that easier, I've included it again below. Just click through, and retweet it.
Thanks, and have a great day.

Just when you think Sunak has reached the gutter he goes even lower. Snubbing our brave veterans is simply shameful on any level.
Repost if you’re furious at his behaviour.

The biggest story today is that the then-Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice was a direct witness to a criminal attempt to pervert the course of justice, and covered it up for four years because it involved one of his political allies.
‘A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on’.
That’s how people like Hartley-Brewer steal a living from the gullible.
Gosh, this sounds terrible.
Imagine losing 70% of your customers overnight…….
🤔
Or do we think someone might be being slightly economical with the truth?
Let’s dig in!

Imagine the explosion of anger if we were choosing a new Patron Saint and someone suggested it should be a Greek guy, born in Turkey, who had fought in the Italian army and hadn’t actually killed any dragons but built his image around doing so.
