I once applied for a job somewhere in this city. The CEO invited me over for the interview at Java; around Midday. I didn't have a car and so I had to connect many matatus to reach the leafy suburbs of Lavington. The interview started. Tough questions I've never heard anywhere. I knew I wasn't going to get the job anyway.
Luckily, the waiter passed by in the middle of the hot interview to pick my order. That was the eureka moment. Commercial break to sweat a little. I ordered marinated chicken; full.
That man didn't even send me a message of regret. I failed the interview; but there was collateral damage.
