Colleges in red states spend money like a wine mom with a shopping addiction.

The University of Kentucky spent $800,000, per day, for more than a decade, on lavish and unnecessary amenities like a video game competition theater, new buildings for the law and business and arts schools, and even dorms with granite countertops and Tempur-Pedic Mattresses!

The University of Florida has more than 50 employees with titles like "director of communications." That's DOUBLE what they had just 5 years before.

The University of Oklahoma has hiked tuition massively while buying a 32,000-square-foot Italian monastery for study-abroad students.

This spending is robbing the public and channeling it to hostile institutions that will never, ever be satisfied. They can always devour more money to aggrandize and enrich themselves, then moan for more.

Red sates need to stop feeding the beast.

- Remove degree requirements for as many jobs as possible.
- Allow (and encourage) companies to hire people after passing a competency test instead of wasting 4 years on a stupid degree.
- Abolish worthless DEI jobs and departments at public schools.
- Refuse to subsidize DEI jobs at private schools.
- Impose tuition caps on public universities and tell them to deal with it.
