If the Cleveland Guardians were in the NL, they would be eliminated from making the playoffs. Instead they are the #2 seed in the AL.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

As expected, the #Panthers have as many wins as the Chiefs, Bills, and Lions.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

@ThatSportsGamer Well played

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

Now do Travis

[Atlanta Braves @Braves]

Welcome home, Charlie!

@AdamSchefter Why can’t they be more definitive about whether he rolled his ankle?

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

It’s just that I didn’t expect to read that sentence today

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

Unpopular opinion: All-star games (in any sport) are super lame unless you’re there in person, and I really don’t care about them.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

In all seriousness, what is the role of an MLB manager?

If it’s just making a lineup and making bullpen decisions, I’m pretty sure we’d be better served by AI.

[Brady Penn @bradypenn21]

Brian Snitker when asked what he is going to do to keep morale up in the clubhouse: “There’s nothing I can do”

Snit added that there’s nothing he’s seeing to show him that morale is low and that it’s a hardworking group of players that prepare well and are energetic

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

@scottcoleman55 @b_outliers Damn, sounds like a looong episode then.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

chills

[Atlanta Braves @Braves]

“I wanna remind the people who Ronald Acuña is.”

@ronaldacunajr24

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

Of course Baldwin has had a great season so far, but as a rookie, he has no baseline to compare prior MLB performance. Though to be fair, Hyers may deserve some credit for his performance.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

At what point do the Braves part ways with Tim Hyers?

There are only 2 hitters who aren’t performing well below their standard:

Acuña - who was famously “training in LA” until a few weeks ago

Olson - whose wRC+ is actually down 2 points vs his career

The rest: down bad

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

On top of this, the Braves LF position has a combined 69 wRC+ this season.

[Mark Bowman @mlbbowman]

Michael Harris’ 57 wRC+ ranks 207th out of 211 players with 200 plate appearances. Nick Allen’s 60 wRC+ ranks 203rd and Ozzie Albies’ 76 wRC+ ranks 189th. One-third of the Braves’ everyday players rank among the bottom 10 percent in production.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

I don’t think replacing Snit is going to fix all of the Braves’ problems. But can’t we at least get someone who understands what a reverse split is?

Eli White has a 22 wRC+ against LHP this year and a 39 wRC+ against LHP in his career.

[Atlanta Braves @Braves]

.@spencerschwell gets the start!

@ronaldacunajr24 has faster hands than Mike Tyson in his prime 🤯

[Frank Fleming @NjTank99]

I think every time a phone rings, Brian Snitker breaks out in a cold sweat.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

Is it possible that the Braves signed the biggest disappointment (Profar) and let the most impactful FA (Fried) walk this offseason?

[MLB Now @MLBNow]

Who has been the most impactful/disappointing free agent signing this season?

#ThinkingFan

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

@grantmcauley But that’s what I thought yesterday, Grant.

[Anthony @anthony_braves]

Even more pathetic when one of those “earned” runs was walked in after loading the bases with walks/HBP

[Stephen Tolbert @b_outliers]

Braves have scored 2 earned runs in their last 26 innings
