@spaceship Your 'premium' domain search is 'close but not quite'. I want to search a keyword and filter results by TLD. At the moment, that seems to do an exact match (e.g. searching 'radio' with '.com' filtered should return stuff like 'https://t.co/dF6uFA168S')
@catslikeseaweed @pushmatrix@SphereVegas I think the Sphere uses the Disguise media server to do normal mapping/warping/playback. They're likely using OBS as an easy way to turn a web page into an SDI output, for Disguise to grab.
@ajrgd@pushmatrix This is an embedded browser (Chromium) in OBS. I suspect they're using OBS to output the browser via SDI. The sphere likely accepts SDI as an input to their media server (Disguise?) which then warps it and turns it into signal for the LED processors.
This is a real ad that just dropped from the Trump administration, aimed at bringing “civility” back to air travel.
It starts with classic Americana aesthetic from the 50s-90s and then cuts to spirit airlines brawls.
Absolutely incredible content.
I followed @chasedownleads's course to buy 100 vending machines. All of them are loosing money, except this fluro vest vending machine at the exhibition center which prints money and makes up for the rest of them. Thanks Chase!
@levelsio@hetzner I once had a great domain & logo - similar to yours. Never ended up building what I wanted. Your tweet today made me realise someone else has picked up the domain now.
MSNBC will change its name to My Source News Opinion World (MS NOW) and unveil a new logo later this year as part of the cable news channel’s spinoff from the Comcast-owned media company NBCUniversal. https://t.co/hIArgmMN3t
@eastdakota Everyone will just keep using Common Crawl for their training data, yeah? It's just bots who want to access fresh data themselves that will be impacted?
@thespacedmonkey I have run into cases of developers mis-using this to disastrous effects. Anything using those old multisite term features is dangerous.
@dagorenouf Jobs don’t have 100% security as you can be fired. As a freelancer I feel more secure knowing it’s unlikely all my clients would leave at once.
@eastdakota I work with a lot of community media in Australia (primarily non-profit radio and digital). Local news is rewarding but can be tough. More people need to get into this space and innovate.
Actually, this is a recipe for a really rewarding life if you’re a recent college grad not sure what to do: Find a small town you could love with a local newspaper whose owners are ready to retire. Raise the capital to buy it. Run it with the community’s interests at heart. You’ll not get rich, but you’ll do well. More importantly you’ll be a hero to the community and have influence even early in your career. You’ll meet the love of your life at some event you wouldn’t otherwise get invited to. Have kids who will be proud to call you their parent. And make your corner of the world meaningfully better. If anyone wants to seriously follow this recipe and just lacks the capital, happy to talk.
@Austen As a recent first-time visitor to the USA, it's crazy you can pay to keep your shoes on at security. In Australia we never take our shoes off, and no one pays extra for special privileges.
