The Red Sox spent $67 million on 7.7 bWAR from Sonny Gray, Ranger Suarez, Caleb Durbin and Willson Contreras

And that’s not even counting Devin Williams (4.81 ERA), Luis Robert (0.1 bWAR) and Marcus Semien (-0.6 bWAR)

That’s another $60 million for -0.9 bWAR.
