Much of the world’s seaborne crude oil moves on supertankers known as VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carriers). These tankers carry roughly 2 million barrels of oil, but they do not move quickly — a typical cruising speed is about 10 to 13 knots (11 to 15 mph). That’s about the pace of a brisk bike ride.

Soldier Carries Little Girl Through Airport So Family Can Make Their Flight
A mom was sprinting through Dallas Love Field Airport, toddler in arms, final boarding call echoing. She was going to miss her flight.
In pure survival mode, she spotted a uniformed U.S. Army soldier nearby—a total stranger—and did what any desperate parent might: "I'm missing my flight. Run with me?"Without a second thought, he took the little girl in his arms and bolted alongside her through the terminal.
Video shows him carrying the toddler like she's his own, weaving through crowds, making sure they reached the gate before it closed.
They boarded. Safe. On time.The mom, Tia Lucia Walter, later shared: "It would be easy to call this random kindness.
