The only logical explanation for that White Sox trade was to shed some salary. Diet man was going to make 4 million next year. But that also not a lot if you are trying to extend Devers and sign Bogarets

The only way the Red Sox will sell is to continue to lose. They are 7-18 in July. This needs to continue the next week. I’m not saying to blow it up. But with all those expiring contracts coming up wouldn’t it be nice to get something for them.

This is probably an unpopular opinion. But I would rather have a tie in baseball after so like 14 innings than a ghost runner in the 10th. If Manfreds goal is to shorten games this is something I would accept.

Something needs to be done. Noise needs to be created. The hitting coach should be fired and replaced with Carlos Delgado. Cora has gone to him for advice at least twice this season. Time for change

Red Sox have been playing medicore baseball. 19th in batting average and runs scored. 19th in team ERA. Not just mediocre but trending below average. They gotta turn it around.
