Why are videos on Pokémon so effective at humbling me on my intelligence

It’s RimWorld’s birthday! That’s 11 years of Randy raids, Zzzts, and swarms of rabid guinea pigs. Thank you for celebrating another trip around the sun with us! ☀️

Seeing the price of the PS5 Pro in Japan has me absolutely floored. I bought a new PS5 on release for 50,000 JPY and the pro is more than DOUBLE that at ~120,000 JPY. With stagnated salaries, Japanese customers are getting the short end of the stick here.

Welp, I guess it's time for the yearly download No Man's Sky and get hooked again

Embarrassingly, for a significant portion of my younger life, this is actually what I considered to be peak Chinese cuisine

[Anthony Ashurst @AnthonyAshurst]

A not so fun fact about this video is my laptop got stolen while at MWC in Barcelona, which contained this video's non-backed-up project file. I edited over an older 4K export to finish it.
Anyway, this is my video about Ningyo/Japanese dolls (人形)

It's incredible how much FFVII Rebirth appears to expand on Remake, just from my first impressions of playing the demo. I also love the approach by Square these days: here just try the first couple of hours of the game.
(But pls stop filling trailers with spoilers, I beg - tyvm)

@TheDazeel I finally played through Control last week and I absolutely loved this moment

I recently worked on a very fun-to-make video about how #Tonkotsu #ramen is created at Debuchan. Check it out:

@muz729 No problems for me, Japan is having a rough start to the year though!

Tsunami warnings to evacuate warnings in Niigata, up to 3m according to the news. Felt minor shakes in Tokyo but it was long.

[Anthony Ashurst @AnthonyAshurst]

Warnings upgraded to 5 metres. Extreme evacuation warnings

[Anthony Ashurst @AnthonyAshurst]

Shindo 7 on Japanese scale, this is worryingly large.

I made a video about the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum in Saitama. Even if you are not interested in #Bonsai there is something to appreciate here
