@AuthorEmy I think you take an honest look at your burn out. Is there a passage that’s got you stuck? Maybe come back to it later. Also, I’d say communicate with your agent about the burnout. There may be more wiggle room in the deadline than you think!

I think the big thing people are missing with the guy who got a book deal without writing a book is the power of a social media following. Being a platform writer means you can influence a great deal of readers, meaning more sales. Ultimately, writing is a business. #booktok
